My Approach
Your journey begins with understanding you. As a psychologist, my first priority is to take the time to truly
understand your goals, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy.
Every person is unique, and your therapy should be too.
Following our initial 50-minute consultation, I will develop an individualised treatment plan tailored specifically
to your needs. This plan is informed by evidence-based psychological therapies and designed to support
meaningful, lasting change.
Depending on your goals, therapy may draw from a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
(DBT) mindfulness practices, meditation, and lifestyle-based strategies that support overall wellbeing.
Where appropriate, I may also recommend a medical review and collaborate with your GP to
explore additional options as part of your care.
When needed, formal assessment and diagnostic tools are used to gain clarity around more complex or clinical concerns. I regularly work alongside other healthcare and educational professionals
to ensure a holistic, collaborative approach — so you feel supported from every angle.
Above all, therapy is a partnership!
Together, we work toward helping you build insight, resilience, and practical
skills to move forward with confidence and purpose.
